LEAVES' EYES Frontwoman Interviewed By ROCK MY MONKEY; Audio Available

November 5, 2009

Rock My Monkey recently conducted an interview with Norwegian singer Liv Kristine Espenaes Krull. The chat is now available for streaming using the audio player below.

Since her first appearance in the music business, Liv Kristine — who has been living in Germany for 10 years now — has been one of the most versatile and extraordinary artists in Europe, leaving her mark in numerous genres.

Liv carved her name into gothic metal history with her bands LEAVES' EYES and THEATRE OF TRAGEDY and conquered the pop scene as a solo artist with her beautiful voice. Just recently, LEAVES' EYES' latest album, "Njord", entered the German chart at position No. 30 and "We Came With The Northern Winds" DVD landed at No. 11 on the German music DVD chart.

"Njord", the new full-length album from LEAVES' EYES — the German/Norwegian band formed by Liv and members of ATROCITY — registered the following first-week chart positions:

Germany (Media Control): #30
Germany (Media Markt and Saturn): #24 *
U.K. (Top Independent Label Albums): #40
U.K. (Top Rock Albums): #19

* Media Markt and Saturn are Germany's leading chains for consumer electronics

"My Destiny", the new video from LEAVES' EYES, can be viewed below. The clip was directed by Patric Ullaeus (DIMMU BORGIR, LACUNA COIL) of Revolver Film Company in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Photos from the video shoot, as well as a German-language report from guitarist Thorsten "Tosso" Bauer, can be found on the Sounds2Move.de web site.
